If none of my ideas/prompts catch your attention, I'm totally fine with mixing and matching some of my tropes/likes/freeforms/etc. to come up with a story! I also may not have prompts for every pairing/fandom, particularly for original works. That doesn't mean I'm less invested or interested in those pairings/fandoms! Sometimes I just can't think of anything specific or feel like the pairing/fandom (particularly for original works) is a prompt in and of itself. If you need some more ideas, feel free to reach out to me through the mods.

What I Love: I'm currently really into gothic romance/gothic horror/horror of any stripe really. I adore difficult/complicated relationships, and questions with no easy answers. I also love ambiguous/happy for now/sad endings. I love things that make me think, and are not necessarily tied up with a neat pretty bow. But that's not to say I don't enjoy a happy ending! This is mostly just meant to reassure you, the writer, that if you don't think a HEA is workable I'm totally fine with that.

I would prefer no character death of any requested characters unless they start the story as ghosts/zombies/etc. (other bad things happening to them is 100% okay). He was obviously manipulating her for some time; did Quincy ever see signs about Coop she just chose to ignore?
     ◊ I was never totally convinced Quincy had romantic feelings toward Coop, though he was clearly obsessed with her from the start. How does that sort of imbalance play out over the course of their friendship.

     ◊ Post-book. Quincy and Jonah start a friendship/relationship. Does becoming close to a journalist provide problems for Quincy, who's used to being so secretive?
     ◊ After the events of the book, Quincy sells her story to Jonah but he feels she isn't telling him the whole truth. Maybe he suspects she's the one responsible for the beating in the park. How does Quincy deal with having the intrepid reporter back on her trail?

     ◊ What is life like for Tina after the events of the book? She takes the rap for the assault Quincy committed as a sort of penance, but is she able to find peace? Does she get out of prison on good behavior? Does she escape?
     ◊ What does Tina think of Coop? Why does she try to seduce him? Did she ever suspect him?

     ◊ A few years after the events of the movie, Amy's murder of Desi Collings unexpectedly comes to light. Would love a social media/epistolary take on this scenario. Amy isn't going to go down without a fight, so does she try to take Nick down with her too? Or does Nick finally try to use the opportunity to get out of the marriage?
     ◊ Amy channels her murderous impulses into a baking/mommy vlog, with disastrous results.
     ◊ After the events of the movie, Amy becomes a minor celebrity and Nick soon starts unraveling under the spotlight of fame.
     ◊ Post-movie. What about Amy's thoughts on their relationship and future after the movie. What does Amy expect to happen when she gives birth? Does she have other ways of keeping Nick in line? What happens when things don't go according to her plans?
     ◊ Post-movie. A few years down the line, Amy decides she's tired of the family life. Amy doesn't want to divorce Nick, so she starts plotting his murder. Does she succeed? Is her plan foiled? I'd really love something noirish, with a little dark humor. (Nick and Amy's kid can be endangered but I'd prefer no actual harm come to them.)
     ◊ Pre-movie. 5 moments Amy and Nick were wrong for each other and one moment they were just perfect. (Would love something that hints at the darkness within each.)
     ◊ Post-movie. Amy and Nick's child disappears and Nick immediately suspects Amy is behind it. But Amy insists she had nothing to do with it. Is she telling the truth? I'd actually love if Amy was orchestrating things behind the scenes but I'm not too picky about it. She doesn't have to be involved. Nick just has to think she is. And if Amy isn't involved, who is behind it? Someone who knows the truth about Amy? Or is it someone else? (Nick and Amy's kid can be endangered but I'd prefer no actual harm come to them.)
     ◊ Pre-movie. How Amy and Nick's wedding night really went.

     ◊ Give me the sad Erik/Madame Giry soulmate AU where they don't/can't end up together. Maybe one of them (Giry?) rejects the bond, leaving both to suffer until Erik starts mentoring Christine. Maybe it's a soulmate mark AU, or a first words to each other AU. I'm really not too picky. It could be a tragic soulbond! (And likely will be considering the canon). Or it could be a what-if/divergence AU too.
     ◊ Missing scene/AU. Erik extracts a payment from Madame Giry too. (I'd love an unhealthy relationship with a power imbalance, but with the younger character (Erik) wielding the power over the older one (Giry).)

Christine Daaé/Carlotta Giudicelli
     ◊ AU. Christine and Carlotta are rivals for the attention of the mysterious Angel of Music, and Carlotta will do anything to get Christine out of the way.
     ◊ Jealous of the attention Christine gets after her performance in Hannibal (or the gala performance, in the book, if you prefer) Carlotta plots her revenge.
     ◊ After Carlotta's disastrous performance in Il Muto (or Faust) is sabotaged, she blames Christine. Soon Carlotta and Christine engage in a rapidly escalating game of cat-and-mouse. But who is the cat and who is the mouse?
     ◊ AU. Carlotta and Christine are involved in an unhealthy, unbalanced relationship with Carlotta having the upper hand. What happens when Christine tries to get Carlotta under her thumb?

     ◊ Post-TCW finale. I've been curious about the "running away again" line in Rebels and how that could have happened without breaking canon. Maybe they get captured by Imperials (or other bad guys) and Ahsoka ends up betraying Maul somehow.
     ◊ AU. Inquisitor Ahsoka hunts Maul at the Emperor's behest. Maul might be a fearsome, deadly warrior, but so is Ahsoka.

Anakin Skywalker/Padmé Amidala
     ◊ Force Sensitive Padmé AU. Padmé starts having strange premonitions that end in a lake of fire. What could it possibly mean?

     ◊ Pre-canon. Paige and Rose have a scary experience on their home planet, Hays Minor. Maybe they run afoul of local bad guys or Imperials, or perhaps they stumble on hostile creatures with a taste for human flesh. I'd just like some sisterly bonding and survival horror!
     ◊ TLJ AU. Paige survived but she isn't the same... In fact, something is very wrong with her. And Rose is the only one who notices.

Rose Tico/Ben Solo
     ◊ AU. After the events of TLJ, the Supreme Leader captures an injured Rose with the intention of executing her over a live holo-broadcast as a way to torture his mother and the resistance. He soon realizes it might be a better idea to keep her alive though. But better for whom?
     ◊ AU. When both Rose and Supreme Leader Kylo Ren's ships crash land on a distant, uninhabited planet and they ended up stranded, they're forced to rely on each other to survive. Then they soon learn the planet isn't as abandoned as they previously thought, and the creatures inhabiting it are very hungry.
     ◊ Post-TROS AU. Ben starts haunting Rose, but why?
     ◊ Post-TROS AU. Rose starts having odd dreams about Ben Solo—then realizes he's trying to reach out to her from the grave.

Rose Tico/Armitage Hux
     ◊ Post-TROS AU. Rose thinks she's being haunted by Hux. But that's impossible. Isn't it?
     ◊ TROS AU. After revealing himself as the spy, Hux leaves with the Resistance. But he's far from a good person, as Rose suspects...and soon finds out from first-hand experience.
     ◊ TROS AU. When he died, Hux's consciousness somehow ended up in Rose's head.

Rey/Zorii Bliss
     ◊ Post-TROS. Zorii finds herself taken with Rey, but whether or not that's of her own volition is up for debate.
     ◊ Post-TROS. After the loss of the other half of her dyad, Rey is unbalanced and she turns to Zorii, of all people, for help. But this is far beyond Zorii's expertise. (Fine with references to past Rey/Ben but do not want it to be the focus.)
     ◊ Post-TROS. Rey becomes increasingly stranger and stranger after the events of TROS (however you wish to interpret that). Zorii tries to convince herself it's nothing to worry about, but she's very very wrong.
