Hi! This is my first time doing this challenge and I'm so excited we got matched up! (I'll probably be copying and pasting some stuff from previous letters here. You can find past letters here and here if you're interested.)

What I Love: I love ambiguous/happy for now/sad endings (though I am not opposed to happy endings in the slightest). I love things that make me think, and are not necessarily tied up with a neat pretty bow.

I love characters dealing with mortality (of their careers or their lives). I also dig found family/families of choice, pining, minor miscommunication, undercover as married, mistaken for dating, pretend dating, enemies to lovers, enemies to friends to lovers, friends to lovers, poly/poly-v relationships, popular clichéd tropes inverted (i.e. gay for you, married in Vegas, A/B/O, soulmates/soulmate marks, etc), meet-cutes/meet-uglies, and epistolary/use of social media pastiche (use of fake texts, tweets, facebook posts, emails, and more. This is a good example of what I mean here. So is this, this, this, this, and this).

Pitch (TV 2016) —

Ginny Baker/Mike Lawson —

I adore fake/pretend/accidental dating that becomes ~more~. FWIW, I just did the trope quiz and came up with this:



If you could fit any (or all) of the top ten into one fic, I'd provide you with my non-existent firstborn child.

Right now, I'm really into gothic horror/gothic romance, suburban gothic, all forms of time travel, and space AUs. Maybe Ginny as a space pirate strikes your fancy! Or Ginny and Mike as new inhabitants of a haunted house! Maybe they move into a new neighborhood that's too good to be true.

The only hard DNW I have is if you are writing a non fantastical (non space, non sci-fi, non horror, etc. AU) story I need baseball to be a part of it. And Ginny must be a baseball player. I'm not interested in stories set in the real world where Ginny didn't choose baseball or gave up/lost her career.

Ginny Baker/Livan Duarte/Mike Lawson —

Similar to the above, only involving the three of them rather than just Ginny and Mike. It can be a threesome or an open relation or poly/poly-v! The only DNW I have is two of them paired up with the third party on the outside pining to be a part of it, or being a voyeur to the other two.

I don't have specific prompts for this fandom. I guarantee I will be happy if you just take a few of my favorite tropes and throw them in a blender with one of my pairings/groups.

Tahani Al-Jamil/Michael (The Good Place) —

I became interested in this pairing while re-watching season one. Maybe Michael starts becoming more and more human and he "imprints" on or bonds with Tahani. Or maybe they have to pretend to be a couple/married for some reason, and it becomes more without them realizing it.

As above, I don't have any specific prompts for this fandom!

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy —

Poe Dameron/Rose Tico (ST) —

I'm intrigued by the potential of this pairing. Write me something where Poe starts visiting Rose in the infirmary out of guilt/obligation, but it develops into a friendship and then something more... Or Rose develops a crush on Poe and mistakenly thinks he's with Finn or Rey, but it turns out Poe is single and ready to mingle. Whatever you want to write, go for it as long as it doesn't hit my DNWs!

Ben Solo | Kylo Ren/Rose Tico (ST) —

I mean, this ship doesn't make sense but I read a fic that made me interested in seeing how it could happen and now I'm intrigued. Perhaps the resistance captures Kylo and Rose decides to get close to him to seek revenge but accidentally tricks herself into developing feelings. Whatever, I'm not picky! Just avoid my DNWs and I should be happy.

I should note, though, that I'm not into the idea of Kylo redemption. Or, at least, a redemption where Kylo ends up getting a happily ever after handed to him. If you want to write him a happy ending, please make him earn it.

Finn/Phasma (ST) —

I have mixed feelings about a Finn/Phasma romantic pairing but I am intrigued by the potential for power dynamics/power dynamics inverted. Maybe Phasma survived TLJ and the resistance captures her. Is Finn kind to her? Or does he look for revenge? Do they bond over their experiences in the FO? Can Phasma be redeemed... Would she even want to be? What does it mean for them if they love each other but she doesn't want to be redeemed or join the "right" side?

A prompt:
TLJ AU or canon compliant post-TLJ where Phasma survives. Phasma has information Finn needs—namely the identities and location of his birth family—so he locates her and for some reason they go on a mission together before ending up stranded and having to rely on each other for survival. And then one thing leads to another... Endgame Finn/Phasma not a requirement.

Poe Dameron/Finn (ST) —

I have no prompts, but really, mix any of my preferred tropes and avoid my DNWs and I'll be happy. I would love anything to do with time travel and space gothic/horror. Maybe one of them travels into the past to try and change something (Poe trying to save his mother or Finn trying to stop the First Order from kidnapping him as a baby) but they tear apart the fabric of time??

Poe Dameron/Finn/Rey (ST) —

For Jedistormpilot, I'd love an undercover mission fic where they have to be in a relationship. Maybe the planet/system they have to go to requires them to marry for nebulous handwavey reasons! Even better is if they have to pose as a threesome but none of them were together before the mission, and this complicates things. Knock yourself out! I will be happy with just about anything.

Poe Dameron/Leia Organa (ST) —

I'd love a deleted scene from TFA or TLJ with Poe and Leia. Or maybe Poe's first time meeting Leia leads to more!

Padmé survives and she and Obi-Wan go into hiding together, either with or without the twins. Or: Anakin was actually right about Obi-Wan and Padmé having an affair.

Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars Prequel Trilogy) —

Missonfic! I'm really here for undercover couple missonfic! Either set within canon somewhere, or a total AU where Palpatine didn't rise to power or was taken out before he could get a foothold.

FP Jones II/Veronica Lodge (Riverdale) —

I have a couple loose prompts for this fandom, which you are free to ignore if they don't spark anything:

Future fic. Veronica fails out of her freshman year of college for whatever reason and has to return to Riverdale, but her parents cut her off. As a last resort, FP volunteers his couch as a temporary place for Veronica to crash, until she has her feet back underneath her...but things happen...

Jughead Jones/Hermione Lodge (Riverdale) —

More future fic, or an AU. Jughead goes up against Mayor Hermione, threatening to expose a scheme or scandal in his newspaper or on his blog. Hermione offers Jughead something he wants (money, sex, revenge, etc.) in exchange for his silence. Soon Jughead finds himself entangled with Hermione Lodge and no way out... Somewhere, deep down inside, he's disgusted that he sold out but he also has no desire to end the arrangement with Hermione.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) —

Galen Erso/Bodhi Rook (R1) —

Everyone survived and after the events of the movie, Galen and Bodhi try to make a life together. Maybe Galen and Bodhi are present on Yavin during the events of A New Hope! Give me post-Death-Star-explosion celebration fic!

Jyn Erso/Orson Krennic (R1) —

This pairing occupies a very specific niche, for me, which is "Krennic has unresolved feelings for Galen that he sublimates into a relationship with Jyn" + "Jyn has unresolved feelings about Galen that she works out through Krennic". Preferably pre-movie, with Jyn on equal footing with Krennic, rather than Krennic having power over her.

Or you can go completely AU and they're both working for the Empire, or everyone survives and Krennic is taken captive by the Rebellion or willingly defects and sells out to the Rebels for protection.

Jaylah/Montgomery "Scotty" Scott (AOS) —

Jaylah and Scotty's friendship in Star Trek Beyond was one of my favorite parts of the movie and I could easily seeing it going from friendship to romantic either during the movie, if a couple things are tweaked, or post-movie with a little more development.

Merritt McKinney/Henley Reeves —

I was just rewatching this movie and the scene on the plane pinged something for me, with regards to this pairing. I could see Merritt trying to win Henley over and Henley being mostly unmoved, but slowly, gradually falling for his goofy charm. Maybe something post-series, or set during a hypothetical third movie with Merritt and Henley bonding and falling for each other.

Benny Lafitte/Dean Winchester —

A deleted scene from Purgatory/S7, or Benny being released from Purgatory post-S14??

Max Banes/Dean Winchester —

Prompt: Dean and Max end up on the same hunt—which goes wrong—and they're forced to work together, which leads to more...or they commiserate over the failed hunt and one thing leads to another.

Or mix and match tropes to come up with something!

Claire Novak/Dean Winchester —

Claire gets into trouble on a hunt and calls in the big guns in the form of Dean Winchester. Or maybe they find the similarities in each other attractive, and end up having a night together that neither talk about.

Rowena MacLeod/Sam Winchester —

Rowena helps Sam hone his latent powers, training him to become a witch. Maybe they go undercover together as a couple, or wake up married.

Jody Mills/Sam Winchester —

Maybe Sam and Jody go on a hunt together and need to rely on each other to survive.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types

Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano (TCW) —

In the case of underage (16 and under) characters, I'd prefer them to be aged up to 18+ or their canon ages not mentioned.

With Ahsoka and Anakin, I prefer them to be their Rebels ages if there's explicit sexual content, but I am fine with G to PG-13/non-explicit romance set during the Clone Wars era.

If you want to explore Clone Wars themes but set it when Ahsoka is 18+ or age her up, that's totally cool. Like, exploring the Mortis Arc with Anakin and Ahsoka, but as adults, for example.

I have some prompts for your consideration:

• Any of the Star Wars prompts here.
• Any variation on tragic time travel or time loops with Ahsoka and Anakin/Vader.
• Missionfic set during the Clone Wars era. Maybe they have to go undercover as a couple.
