Dear Yoda,

Hello and thank you for writing for me! I left prompts in my sign-up but if those don't strike your fancy, don't worry. If you want, you can feel free to combine any of my likes/tropes/etc. and I'm sure I'll love it. Also see past letters here.

What I Love: I love ambiguous/happy for now/sad endings (though I am not opposed to happy endings in the slightest). I love things that make me think, and are not necessarily tied up with a neat pretty bow.

I love characters dealing with mortality (of their careers or their lives). I also dig found family/families of choice, pining, minor miscommunication, undercover as married, mistaken for dating, pretend dating, enemies to lovers, enemies to friends to lovers, friends to lovers, poly/poly-v relationships, popular clichéd tropes inverted (i.e. gay for you, woke up married, A/B/O, soulmates/soulmate marks, etc), meet-cutes/meet-uglies, and epistolary/use of social media pastiche (use of fake texts, tweets, facebook posts, emails, and more. This is a good example of what I mean here. So is this, this, this, this, and this.)

Poe Dameron/Jessika Pava —

Inspired by a TFA kink prompt, but Poe and Jessika get shot down on a mission and crash land on a distant planet. The two turn to each other for survival/comfort and eventually the extreme circumstances/danger/etc. they find themselves in lead to them becoming lovers. They truly believe they're going to die and they don't wanna die alone... but then they're rescued by the resistance a while (days? weeks? months?) later and don't know how to be together in ~the real world~. How do they figure it out? Or how to do they fail to figure it out? Are they able to remain friends, with this experience in their past? Or does it make it impossible? No established Poe/Jessika, please! I'm more than happy with them in other relationships (Jess/Snap? Jess/Karé? Poe/Finn? Poe/Karé? Poe/Kaydel Ko? Not picky!) to up the angst factor.

Finn & Phasma —

TLJ AU or canon compliant post-TLJ where Phasma survives. Phasma has information Finn needs—namely the identities and location of his birth family—so he locates her and for some reason they go on a mission together before ending up stranded and having to rely on each other for survival. Temporary "friendship"/companionship that ends once they're rescued. Finn learning things about himself in a difficult situation he's never had to face before. Ruthless Finn is also great, kicking enemy pirate ass or aliens or w/e. Optional background Finn/Rey or Finn/Poe acceptable. Not looking for Phasma redemption this time.

Poe Dameron/Finn/Rey —

This is very specific request! But I'd love something where Finn and Poe are just starting out a relationship when Poe disappears on a mission and is presumed dead. Finn mourns Poe, believing he's dead, before eventually starting a relationship with Rey to cope. But then Poe is rescued by the resistance and brought to their new base. Poe is eager to rekindle his relationship with Finn and start where they left off, only to find out Finn is now with Rey. Cue relationship melodrama! Rey loves Finn and doesn't want to lose him, and is tempted to get Poe out of the picture. Finn loves them both, in different ways, and is caught between a rock and a hard place. And Poe is starting to wish he hadn't come back. I'm looking for endgame OT3, of course. Tell me how they work it out! (I went into more detail here.)

No Poe/Rey apart from Finn, please! Poly-v (Finn/Poe + Finn/Rey) is also great!

OR

While Rey is off training with Luke on Ahch-To, Finn and Poe start a relationship. Poe "knows" Finn only wants to be him because Rey isn't there and when she comes back their relationship will end, but he's just happy to have Finn in his life in any way he can have him. He'll be totally fine when Finn inevitably breaks things off to be with Rey!

Except Poe's kind of a bonehead and that's not what's happening at all, but try to convince him of that.

I just want Poe convinced he's going to get dumped while wishing he could just be brave enough to step aside so Finn and Rey be happy together, and Finn and Rey convincing him they both want to be with him.

Leia Organa & Rey, Rey & Ben Solo | Kylo Ren —

Rey is actually Leia's and Han's long lost daughter, and Kylo's sister, presumed dead for all these years. Somehow she ended up with junk traders on Jakku and that's what Kylo saw in his ~vision~. How does Rey find out the truth? Who tells her? What does she do with the information? Who tells who the truth, between Rey and Kylo? Why didn't Kylo see the truth then... or was he willingly lying to her? (Is Rey's birth name Breha?)

Rey and Kylo as siblings only!

Chewbacca & Rey, Chewbacca & Han Solo —

Action/adventure+friendship! Or maybe Chewie and Rey bonding over their shared love for Han (either TFA compliant or fix-it or "Han lives" AU)?

Padmé Amidala/Obi-Wan Kenobi —

Post-Prequels AU, where Padmé survives and starts the rebellion, and she and Obi-Wan raise the twins together while slowly turning to each other for comfort and eventually falling in love.

Ransolm Casterfo/Leia Organa —

many years after the events of Bloodline, maybe set in the years between the OT and ST, Leia visits Ransolm's prison expecting to pay respects to the dead. Imagine her surprise when she finds out he's been kept alive all this time. Sad endings are a-ok.

Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano —

Time travel AU where some jerk messes up the main timeline and an adult Ahsoka ends up zapped back in the past, dealing with a Clone Wars-era Anakin and a younger version of herself. Ahsoka would very much like to return to *her* timeline but that proves difficult, and awkward things happen between (adult) her and Anakin. I'm honestly not really an Anisoka shipper but I *am* interested in the idea of regret and grief leading people to make bad decisions and time travel as a metaphor for grieving/mourning and moving on, and I'd love to see that applied to Ahsoka and Anakin from an adult Ahsoka's perspective. How does an adult Ahsoka's regret and grief color events that occurred in SWCW and SWR?

I'd very much like if it's super awkward and uncomfortable, because Ahsoka has the foresight of like being zapped from the future and knows what's going to happen to Anakin. Bonus points if she tries to meddle to keep Anakin from falling and has to time travel *back* again to fix her messes. Extra bonus points if adult Ahsoka ends up as sort of a big sister figure to little Ahsoka (and maybe gives her advice like "if you see the opportunity to time travel do not take that opportunity under any circumstances").

No young Ahsoka/Anakin please. Just awkward adult time traveling Ahsoka accidentally stepping in it while she tries to find her way back to her own timeline. Thx.

Chewbacca & Ben Solo | Kylo Ren —

Maybe something tragic set during Ben's childhood, with foreshadowing of the person he'd grow up to be? I'm not a Ben Solo redemption fan, feel free to make Kylo as evil and irredeemable and tragic as you want. You can even kill him off. Chewbacca's POV is preferred.

Luke Skywalker & Shara Bey & Kes Dameron, Luke Skywalker/Sana Starros —

Luke Skywalker and his wife, Sana Starros, are being chased around the galaxy by an enemy who wants their young son (baby Finn). Luke calls on his old friends Shara and Kes for help. (Since Finn ends up in the stormtrooper program, I'm fine with a sad ending if you stick to canon but NO SANA STARROS DEATH. NO FRIDGED SANA!!! Thanks.)

I'd love for this to be canon compliant (but I'm cool if it's an in-universe or "what if this one thing happened differently" AU (no coffee shops or high schools)). And baby Finn's birth name is up to the author but I have a strong preference for either Sam or Owen or Anakin.
