I like gen, het, slash, femslash, poly-ships (poly-v too), etc. You're welcome to interpret my character noms as any, rather than all, though you're free to include all characters in a fic if you want! What I Love:
I'm really, really into gothic romance/gothic horror/horror of any stripe. I also love ambiguous/happy for now/sad endings. I love things that are not necessarily tied up with a neat pretty bow. That's not to say I don't enjoy a happy ending, though! This is mostly just to reassure you, the author, that if a happy ending doesn't seem to fit the story, or isn't coming, don't stress about it. I love endings that fit the story being told, regardless of whether or not they're happy. Aside from horror, I like romcoms, romcoms/comedies of errors, found family/families of choice, strong platonic friendships, broad comedy, understated/subtle comedy, cats (characters adopting/owning cats, turning into cats, caring for cats, cat familiars, werecats, etc.), religious and philosophical themes, postmodernism, and pastiche/epistolary to name just a few.

Holiday themed fics are totally awesome (and some of my prompts may involve holiday themes) but you don't have to write one centered around the holidays if you don't want to! If you do, I celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah.

I wasn't able to nominate him as a character, but if you can find out a way to write me a story with Joey Votto and Mr. Red (especially Mr. Red as some cursed eldritch baseball being) I'll adore you forever. I'm not interested in the actor in the mascot costume, I am interested in Mr. Red as an actual creature with an oversized baseball as a head. And legendary former Red, Joey Votto. Barring that, though...
I'd love character studies or meditations on one of the last great only-played-for-one-team future Hall of Famers in Joey Votto. Votto's gone through various stages of his career, and shifting public perceptions. He's been seen as aloof, careful, reserved in his early career and more outgoing, extroverted, funny, and likeable as he aged and opened himself up more to the public. (Votto, along with Zack Greinke, was one of very few players in the mid-00s to reveal he suffered from depression and anxiety, and actually missed playing time to take care of his mental health.)
I am also extremely interested in the characterization of Votto as a closeted queer player (there have been rumors about his sexuality for years, but he's never really revealed much about his personal life and seems to have striven to keep personal and professional separate). How would the added layer of being queer affect someone as successful and mercurial as Votto? If he has a partner who operates behind the scenes, what do they think about the lines Votto would straddle as a closeted public persona?
(Votto's also stated he's not interested in dating celebrities but did a whole bit on the Dan Patrick Show about auditioning to be Taylor Swift's boyfriend (but indicated it was so that she could buy him a new car). If you choose to depict Votto as queer I am not really interested in depictions of blatant or violent homophobia. Internalized homophobia/minor instances of homophobia are acceptable, given the nature of the sport and the culture surrounding it.

I love post-canon/"what happens next" fic for all of the characters (nominated and unnominated), especially for a book like this. I'm also intrigued by the possibilities of post-canon Dani/Julia, and what life looks like for Lynnette after the events of the book. Does the group further splinter apart or become even closer?
There's a moment in the book where it's revealed that Dani agonizes over whether or not she killed the right person (in a nod to Laurie Strode's storyline in Halloween: Resurrection). I'd love more of those sorts of introspective moments for the final girls; we know what haunts them literally, but what haunts them figuratively? What do they dream about? What plagues their nightmares? Are there missed opportunities they wish they'd taken? People they wish they'd kept in their lives or people they wish they'd cut off?
If you want to get a little supernatural, what if Adrienne becomes a ghost? Is she malevolent, intent on seeking revenge for herself or others, or more of a guiding spirit for her fellow final girls?
It's left sort of ambiguous as to whether or not Heather's Dream King is real or a hallucination; maybe he is real and she eventually finds him.
I would adore a mix of social media epistolary/pastiche elements like letters, emails/tweets, video transcripts, etc. An outsider POV of the events of the book through the lens of social media would be neat!
Worldbuilding-wise, I'd be interested in anything that builds out the characters' universe. You can go in a meta route- maybe the final girls get movie and book deals- or maybe a true crime blogger/podcaster is keeping tabs on them?

I'm intrigued by the many possibilities for this pair either within the world of canon or in AU/what-if scenarios. I'm not really interested in redemption or redemption arcs; if anything, I think I'd prefer a corruption arc for Gabi than a redemption arc for Sir. I'm also interested in canon tweaks/what-ifs/etc., for example: like an AU where Gabi doesn't escape Sir or a canon tweak where Sir's motivations for kidnapping were more sinister than trying to cultivate and nurture a brilliant mind or rather than kidnapping Gabi as a high school student Sir kidnapped her when she was in college. Not to be a huge nerd but I'm really interested in seeing what shifting their relationship from non-sexual into sexual/romantic/etc would change, with the characters/in their lives/in canon and so on.
I'm happy with either a platonic or sexual relationship between the two. Complicated relationships, sexual/romantic or otherwise, intrigue me.

The show has really been playing up the sisterly relationship/trauma bond Gabi and Lacey have. I'd love anything that digs deeper into the more traumatic aspects of their bond. Lacey seems to have struggled harder than Gabi to adjust to life after Sir; how did Gabi help Lacey cope and survive in her post-kidnapping world? How does Gabi help Lacey cope in the present day after her second kidnapping? What if Lacey rejects Gabi Π°fter finding out Gabi kidnapped Sir?

I have been obsessed with the idea that Annie isn't really dead and inserts herself in Gabi's life in some way. Is she obsessed with getting revenge on Sir- or perhaps assisting him? Was she a would-be victim prior to Gabi, or was she an accomplice he rejected? What happens when Gabi and Annie finally meet again? Do they butt heads or is it a meeting of like-minds?

The finale left these two in such an interesting place! They go from sharing intimate convos and closeness to betrayal and backstabbing- and to Tenax making empty threats against Cala's life. Threats that are ultimately empty because she has the upper hand over him. With both her kids fighting as gladiators, does she lean on Tenax to help keep them safe? What happens if a newer, bigger baddie comes along to the tavern to threaten and intimidate her- does Tenax still come to her aid? How do Tenax's scheming and machinations affect their suppressed attraction to each other? Can it ever be acted on with Tenax now acting as Domitian's aedile? What if Cala is set on returning to Africa and gives in to her attraction to Tenax believing she'll never see him again? Knock yourself out!
Cala/Antonia
I am so intrigued with what could happen if these two headstrong, ambitious, powerful women ever had to work together in canon. What if Cala and Antonia had to team up together? Or, better yet, what if they were at cross purposes? Who gets the upper hand? How do they work out their differences? Antonia was kind of a "bad" guy, but we got to see glimpses of softness in her; how would Cala bring out this other side to her if they were involved?
It would be interesting to me to see Cala reluctantly become involved with either Tenax or Antonia, given her earlier ambivalence toward Rome and Romans when she first arrived.

Not to be a huge nerd but I'm really interested in seeing what shifting their relationship from non-sexual into sexual/romantic/etc would change, with the characters/in their lives/in canon and so on.
I'm happy with either a platonic or sexual relationship between the two. Complicated relationships, sexual/romantic or otherwise, intrigue me.
Gabi & Lacey
The show has really been playing up the sisterly relationship/trauma bond Gabi and Lacey have. I'd love anything that digs deeper into the more traumatic aspects of their bond. Lacey seems to have struggled harder than Gabi to adjust to life after Sir; how did Gabi help Lacey cope and survive in her post-kidnapping world? How does Gabi help Lacey cope in the present day after her second kidnapping? What if Lacey rejects Gabi Π°fter finding out Gabi kidnapped Sir?
Gabi & Annie
I have been obsessed with the idea that Annie isn't really dead and inserts herself in Gabi's life in some way. Is she obsessed with getting revenge on Sir- or perhaps assisting him? Was she a would-be victim prior to Gabi, or was she an accomplice he rejected? What happens when Gabi and Annie finally meet again? Do they butt heads or is it a meeting of like-minds?

I'm fine with references to background pairings, like Gabi/Trent and Lacey/Zeke. (I'm also totally fine with infidelity.)

I'd really loooove found family anything with Maika, Kippa, Corvin, Zinn and Master Ren! I'll also take AUs for this fandom (though no real world/mundane AUs please). A look at their day-to-day lives, between battles and death, would be lovely. Show a moment of genuine family/friendship or bonding amidst the horror and you'll have me eating out of the palm of your hand.
I love (and prefer) the platonic relationships but I also wouldn't be opposed to Maika/Corvin or Maika/Zinn (Tuya wasn't nominated but you can include her in a background Maika/Tuya relationship too).
Also I can't say no to tentacles so if you can figure out a way to work that out, more power to you.

The finale left these two in such an interesting place! They go from sharing intimate convos and closeness to betrayal and backstabbing- and to Tenax making empty threats against Cala's life. Threats that are ultimately empty because she has the upper hand over him. With both her kids fighting as gladiators, does she lean on Tenax to help keep them safe? What happens if a newer, bigger baddie comes along to the tavern to threaten and intimidate her- does Tenax still come to her aid? How do Tenax's scheming and machinations affect their suppressed attraction to each other? Can it ever be acted on with Tenax now acting as Domitian's aedile? What if Cala is set on returning to Africa and gives in to her attraction to Tenax believing she'll never see him again? Knock yourself out!
Cala/Antonia
I am so intrigued with what could happen if these two headstrong, ambitious, powerful women ever had to work together in canon. What if Cala and Antonia had to team up together? Or, better yet, what if they were at cross purposes? Who gets the upper hand? How do they work out their differences? Antonia was kind of a "bad" guy, but we got to see glimpses of softness in her; how would Cala bring out this other side to her if they were involved?
It would be interesting to me to see Cala reluctantly become involved with either Tenax or Antonia, given her earlier ambivalence toward Rome and Romans when she first arrived.
